Introduction.
Please read this article before starting to use this product Hide Folders V1.0.
When you first install this software , by default the password is shown on top-right corner of login form. But it will disappear when you change your password. Read "Protect the access to Hide Folders with password" article to learn how to change the password. You can not remove hidden folders from a list.
If you want to uninstall Hide Folders V1.0 you must ,first, remove all hidden folders from the list. Unless you won't be able to see that folders after you have uninstalled software.
How to hide folders?
- Click on Add Folder icon on standard toolbar, or click File -> AddFolder then File browser will show up.
- Navigate through File Browser to pick folder you want to hide. If you want to hide multiple folders repeat the operation for each folder you want to hide.
- First choose the folder you want to hide from a list then click Hide Folder icon on standard toolbar or you can go to File -> Hide. Selected folder will be hidden.
NOTE: Unfortunately, on this version you cannot hide multiple folders at once.
Protect the access to Hide Folders with password
You can password protect the access to a program so no one can open it to view and unhide folders. To do so simply click on "Password" icon or click Edit -> Password. A new form will show up. Enter your current password then enter your new password and confirm the same password in the third field. After you have filled all fields click Ok to finish or click Cancel to keep old password active. If you want to change your password repeat the process by entering current password , new password and confirming it. Make sure you remember the password you entered because uninstalling the software will NOT unhide your folders.
